Upcoming blogoversary

Well, amazingly enough I am coming up on my 1 year blogoversary in less than a month. I would like to do a give away in honor of it. So you have the next 24 days or so to make a comment on this post. I will draw a name on September 18th, and the winner will receive a gift from me.

I have determined what stash I'm taking with me on deployment. I'm probably taking more than I will have time for ... but I figure that's better than running out. Thank you to those who have volunteered to send me supplies or care packages. I will be e-mailing my ship address to you. Thanks again!

Hi Dani. Happy Blogoversary! And like Staci said, it's always better to take too much than not enough..! I hope you have room to take a lot. Do you have a lot of down time while you are deployed?

Congratulations on your blogoversary.

Please add me to your list of folks who'd be happy to send you care packages. Deployment supplies are *critical*.

Please take lots of stuff! That should help releave the stress! lol I don't think they have cross stitch shops in the ports out there. If you need anything...just e-mail. If you get into port and see those beautiful MINK blankets..think of me! My son brought several of them back when he was on his 2nd tour. I hope he plans on getting me another on his third tour! huggerz and safe seas laurel

Happy Blogoversary.. I cannot belief that you have only been blogging for a year i feel like i have been coming here forever lol.

Oh and Dani - there is no such thing as too much stash, whetherer it is taking it on your travels or buying it - if there is room you take it.

Hi Dani,

Happy Blogoversary!! Please email me your address, I will send out care packages during deployment. I know my DH loves to get mail when out to sea. I also have some stash I am clearing out wondered if you would be interested? Shepherds Bush- Tiny Flag - Chart and left over silk: Americana Folio: and LHN - The Sampler Lady. I also have A wife's prayer in my waiting to be stitched pile and you are welcome to it when I do it. Have a safe deployment and look forward to hearing from you. Kristin
